Podcast host Joe Rogan couldn’t stop laughing Friday on his show at a graph by Media Matters labeling him as “right wing.”
In a new study, Media Matters assessed the audience sizes of popular online shows, finding that most favored content is “overwhelmingly right-leaning.” While discussing the downfall of corporate media with YouTuber Chris Williamson on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” Rogan said “anything masculine” is automatically labeled as “right wing.”
The show host then asked Williamson if he had seen the graph from Media Matters’ study, labeling him on the right.
“Yes, you can’t like fast cars. You’re not allowed to. You’re not even allowed to like Tesla’s anymore. Which are the fastest cars,” Rogan said. “You’re a misogynist. You’re probably racist. Maybe a Nazi. I’m gonna put a swastika in your car just to let everybody know….
