Mark Scarsi has been assigned to one of the most politically charged cases in the country: first son Hunter Biden’s nine-count indictment over tax problems.

Scarsi, a President Donald Trump appointee, has presided over the Central District of California’s Western Division since 2020. The area encompasses Los Angeles.
