[WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.] A drag queen and chef was arrested and booked Friday, five days after he made online threats against President Donald J. Trump, whose Winter White House Mar-a-Lago is here, including the man’s request: “Bullets, please. Jesus, save America” at 9:59 p.m. on his Facebook page.
West Palm Beach Police Chief Tony Araujo told reporters Saturday that Shannon Atkins was arrested after additional posts bemoaning that after attacks on presidents Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennedy, Ronald W. Reagan, and civil rights leader Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. — and Trump — “Unfortunately, one is still alive.”
Atkins identifies himself as: “Certified Chef, Baker and now Drag Queen” on his X profile.
