Hypocrisy truly has no bounds within the ranks of the Senate Democrats. On Tuesday, Connecticut Senator Richard Blumenthal will attack Pete Hegseth during Hegseth’s Senate Armed Services Committee Hearing, the first step of the confirmation process for Hegseth to become President Trump’s Secretary of Defense. Blumenthal called Hegseth “unqualified” to be President Trump’s Secretary of Defense. It is hypocritical of Blumenthal to attack Hegseth’s “qualifications” when Blumenthal lied to his voters about his “service” in Vietnam, which caused criticism far beyond the political spectrum when even the VFW denounced Blumenthal’s “service” lies. How could any Republican Senator vote with Blumenthal and against Hegseth?
