President Trump in a Sunday interview warned of a public “breaking point” if he is sentenced to house arrest or jail time following his conviction in the hush money criminal case in New York.

Trump said in an interview on Fox News’s Fox & Friends Weekend, when asked about the possibility of house arrest or jail time:

I don’t know that the public would stand it, you know? I don’t—I’m not sure the public would stand for it.

Further:

I think it’d be tough for the public to take. You know, at a certain point, there’s a breaking point.

Trump, the presumptive 2024 GOP presidential nominee, was convicted last week on 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up a scheme to conceal potentially damaging information…
