Outkick host Charly Arnolt balked at some of the contenders who made the Time Person of the Year shortlist, adding that she was grateful Taylor Swift was ultimately given the honors.
“It’s bestowed upon the person that Time deems to be the most influential in a given year. And I’m actually really happy, I must say, that they chose Taylor Swift because aside from being a worldwide phenomenon, she is nothing short of that and an amazing performer,” Arnolt said on her Outkick the Morning show. “[Swift] did single-handedly boost the U.S. economy with her Eras tour. And here’s what I want to know. Can she have another tour, please? Because the economy, as we know it needs even more help.”
