Trump announces more ambassador appointments to his administration

President-elect Donald Trump revealed several more appointments on Thursday to his incoming administration. As has been customary since winning the election, Trump made the announcements with a post on his Truth Social account. 

The president-elect announced two ambassador positions: Benjamin Leon Jr. as the next U.S. ambassador to Spain and Joe Popolo as the next U.S. ambassador to the Netherlands

Regarding his nominee for the ambassadorship to Spain, Trump praised Leon’s background and philanthropic endeavors.

“Benjamin is a highly successful entrepreneur, equestrian, and philanthropist,” Trump said in his post. “He came to the U.S. from Communist Cuba at 16-years-old, with only Five Dollars in his pocket, and proceeded to build his company, Leon Medical Centers, into an incredible business.
