NBA legend Kendrick Perkins has thrown some fuel into the fire in regards to the tension between Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James and the media. Perkins’ comments came after LBJ’s interview on “The Pat McAfee Show.”
Winning a title in 2008 with the Boston Celtics, Perkins has a problem with James’ constant complaining about how things are covered within the NBA. While speaking with McAfee, James said he began his podcast with Lakers head coach J.J. Redick due to the coverage of the league getting away “from the essence of the game of basketball.”
“He needs to stop. LeBron James needs to stop. I’m so sick of him with, ‘Oh, how the league is covered,’ because he wanted to be covered in a certain way that he wants it to be covered,” said Perkins on ESPN’s “First Take.” (RELATED: ‘This Man Is In His…
