During the Obama era, the Democrats and the corporate media seemed to be a well-oiled machine. They danced together with such precision that narratives were served up and consumed without question by a lot of people. If it wasn’t for talk radio and the internet, Obama would have gotten away with a lot more than he did, but even so, he got away with a lot.
But now, the left hand doesn’t seem to know what the other left hand is doing. Wires seem to be getting crossed constantly. Nowadays, the press often seems to be just as surprised about the decisions coming out of the White House as we are.
