The 2025 Grammy Awards were held Feb. 2 and their mission was evidently to shove their message of inclusiveness down our throats.
The Weeknd stunned fans by ending his yearslong boycott of the Grammy Awards and making a surprise appearance at the show. The artist previously publicly dragged The Recording Academy, calling them “corrupt” and calling them out for their lack of transparency. The Academy’s CEO, Harvey Mason Jr., took the stage Sunday and made a speech declaring he had modernized the voting system, added more than 3,000 voting members. The Weeknd then proceeded to perform his new song “Cry For Me,” at the 67th Grammy Awards. This was just one of the many moments that put thespotlight on the woke culture and ‘inclusiveness’ embraced by the academy.
