The suspected shooter who opened fire on a July 4 Parade in Highland Park, Illinois, killing at least six and wounding 24 more, has been arrested by Chicago law enforcement.
During a press conference, Highland Park Police Chief Lou Jogmen announced the suspected gunman was arrested around 6:30 p.m. ET by North Chicago police officers.
“What I can tell you at this moment was approximately 15 minutes ago, the subject that we were looking for. the Person of Interest Robert Crimo III, was spotted by a North Chicago unit at Buckley and 41 his vehicle the vehicle that we were looking for,” Jogmen said.
