- Snap soared 46% ahead of the bell. The social-media company posted its first quarterly profit and signaled it is adjusting to disruptions in the digital-advertising market caused by Apple privacy policy changes.
- Amazon rose 12% premarket. The company’s profit nearly doubled as it controlled labor and supply costs better than expected and saw gains in its cloud-computing and advertising businesses. Its shares climbed 13% premarket.
