Senate Republicans are enraged over Senate Democrats slow-walking President Trump’s nominee’s confirmation floor votes. As of Wednesday morning, President Trump’s Secretary of Defense, Pete Hegseth, still had not scheduled a confirmation floor vote despite the Senate Armed Services Committee approving Hegseth’s nomination for a floor vote on Monday. Senate Democrats’ slow walking of Trump’s nominees is having a drastic impact as confirmation hearings for other nominees like Kash Patel can not begin until nominees like Hegseth and Bondi are voted on. Senate Democrats are determined to obstruct President Trump’s secure border policies, which is why they are slow-walking Hegseth and other Trump nominee’s floor votes.
