Sarah Hyland is open to a Modern Family reboot!
The actress, 33, said she’d be interested in bringing back the sitcom to see what her character Haley Dunphey is doing next in her career while speaking to PEOPLE at the 2024 Drama Desk Awards on Monday, June 10.
“I would want to see a script first,” Hyland tells PEOPLE. “I think creatively for me, I would want to know what was going on with Haley. I want to see her career back and stuff and her creativity and I want her to be able to do both.”
Hyland played Haley Dunphy for all 11 seasons of Modern Family. By the end of the final season in 2020, her character was trying to balance her career with being a parent to newborn twins.
