But in the end, everyone in the community believes that McIlroy only wants what’s best for the PGA Tour. Unfortunately, Monahan & Co. didn’t have that same opinion a few months ago.
McIlroy was rejected for a position in the PGA Tour committee as the commissioner and his team didn’t believe the 35-year-old was the right man for the job. However, their recent statement suggests that they are following the same path the legendary golfer had recommended not that long ago.
