Police have responded to a shooting at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill (UNC), where at least two victims were reportedly injured, on Monday, according to reports.

UNC Police released a photo of a person of interest, an East Asian male, in the shooting. “If you see this person, keep your distance, put your safety first and call 911,” they warned. A user on Twitter later identified the person as Tailei Qi, a Chinese national and alumnus of Wuhan University whose LinkedIn profile lists him as a graduate student at UNC.
