Pittsburgh Hires Tennessee’s Allen Greene As New Athletic Director To Usher Them Into NIL Era

Pittsburgh got their guy!

The University of Pittsburgh has hired a veteran in Allen Greene to become their next athletic director, according to an announcement Friday from the school.

Before taking the gig at Pitt, Greene was the senior deputy director and chief operating officer for the University of Tennessee, and previously, he was the athletic director for both Auburn and Buffalo. Starting his new job Nov. 1, he’s taking the keys from Heather Lyke, who was fired by Pitt in September.
