TULSA, Okla. — The PGA Championship returns to Southern Hills Country Club for the first time since 2007, when Tiger Woods won his 13th major championship and fourth Wanamaker Trophy.
Woods will be back here this week trying to win his 16th major championship and 83rd PGA Tour victory, which would be the most in history.

Defending champion Phil Mickelson isn’t here, as his exile from professional golf continues after his controversial comments about the PGA Tour and financiers of a Saudi Arabian-backed breakaway circuit became public.
