Outgoing Pennsylvania Senator Bob Casey Finally Concedes

Outgoing Pennsylvania United States Senator Bob Casey finally conceded on Thursday night. Casey’s concession came weeks after his race was called. Casey’s efforts to overturn his election loss became so serious that he was fundraising for his post-election challenges as Pennsylvania Senate Elect David McCormick attended new senator orientation on Capitol Hill. Top Democrat election lawyer Marc Elias also attempted to overturn Casey’s election loss. Casey’s election loss means that for the first time in over 50 years, there will not be an elected Casey in power in Pennsylvania. In 2018, Senator Bob Casey cruised to a 12% victory.
