North Carolina Fires Head Coach Mack Brown After Mediocre Season

UNC is ready for a new route!

The University of North Carolina made the move Tuesday to fire their football coach Mack Brown, with the school itself confirming the news in an official statement.

“Mack Brown has won more games than any football coach in UNC history, and we deeply appreciate all he has done for Carolina football and our university,” said athletic director Bubba Cunningham. “Over the last six seasons — his second campaign in Chapel Hill — he has coached our team to six bowl berths, including an Orange Bowl, while mentoring 18 NFL draft picks.” (RELATED: Cal Student Reportedly Slammed On Turf By Football Program’s Equipment Manager After They Try Stealing Team Helmet)
