The Chiefs won the week 16 game against the Texans. But not without injuries to their key players like the DT Chris Jones. Andy Reid and the whole of Chiefdom were worried about their defensive leader. When he wobbled on the field in the 4th quarter, fans sensed something was not right. But brace yourselves for the big news.
Just a few hours after the game, NFL insider Jay Glazer reported that Jones’ MRI came back negative. It means that the injury is not a season-ending. It brings a relief for the Chiefs’ locker room. They are already into the playoffs and can’t afford him to sit on the bench because of any injury. However, the true extent of injury is still unknown. And that remains a worry for the team.
Stay tuned. More details coming your way.
