Despite not filing to appear on the ballot, Democrats in New Hampshire are looking to secure a primary victory for President Joe Biden in the state next year.
The initiative comes less than a week after Biden’s campaign confirmed it would forgo filing to appear on the ballot in the Granite State for the Democratic primary, citing guidance from the DNC. The campaign to encourage voters to write in Biden for the Democratic primary, titled Write In Biden, is not affiliated with the Biden campaign but has the backing of various prominent state Democrats.
