Former President Donald Trump returned to Capitol Hill on Thursday for the first time since January 6, 2021. He was given a hero’s welcome by a united Republican Party.
Trump had a busy day. He had a breakfast meeting with House Republicans and then he met with Senate Republicans for lunch. He also met with the Business Roundtable, a group that represents chief executive officers of some of the country’s biggest employers.
Democrats and their fellow travelers in the media were in meltdown mode. They are obsessed with Trump. Many made sure to let their feelings be known.
Reminding voters of the riot on January 6 is a top priority for Democrats. They have very little to run on for the election in November so they are running on abortion and January 6.
