Morgan Stanley recruited a financial advisor team from Merrill Lynch that previously oversaw more than $1.4 billion in client assets, according to a source familiar with the matter.
The team joined Morgan last week in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., according to registration records. The group includes Jeffrey Gembis, his son, Henry, and Joseph Carter. They report to Mark Feiler, executive director and market manager at Morgan Stanley, who oversees the Bloomfield Hills office.
