The country star re-teams with longtime collaborator Trey Fanjoy and digs out her old book of matches from the “Kerosene” video to bring latest single to life

Miranda Lambert has paired her new breakup anthem “Wranglers” with a music video that puts the song’s lyrics to life.

The visual, directed by longtime collaborator Trey Fanjoy, finds Lambert and pals consoling a friend in the aftermath of a breakup, with the group holding a ceremonial bonfire of the ex’s belongings and proving that, in fact, “Wranglers take forever to burn.”

The “Wranglers” video also calls back to Lambert’s breakout 2005 single “Kerosene,” with the singer using a replica can of kerosene and the same book of matches from that song’s video for the “Wranglers” visual. Keeping with the trip…
