Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley mocked the Democratic Party’s strategy, which has strayed from his own party’s “commonsense” policies.
The RNC is fresh off President Donald Trump‘s win, which included the popular vote for the first time since 2004. Republicans also won the majority in the Senate and House.
“As long as the Democrats are doing everything they can to oppose a commonsense agenda for America, we are going to see them in the 20s and 30s in terms of support,” Whatley said on Fox Business’s Mornings with Maria on Thursday. “We are very excited about the map that we see in the Senate.
