Meryl Streep’s Daughter Louisa Jacobson Says She Received a Lot of Support When She Came Out (Exclusive)

Louisa Jacobson is grateful for the support she received after going public with her relationship with girlfriend Anna Blundell.

Jacobson, 33, spoke with PEOPLE on Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Human Rights Campaign 2025 Greater New York Dinner. There, she was awarded the HRC Visibility Award, celebrating her impactful work in expanding LGBTQ+ representation on- and off-screen. 

She is the youngest child of Meryl Streep and Don Gummer, and goes by her first and middle name. The former couple share three other children: Henry Wolfe, 45, Mamie, 41, and Grace, 38.

Jacobson spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about how honored she felt to be gifted the award by the HRC, which is the nation’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) civil rights organization.
