Corporate media outlets are claiming that Vice President Kamala Harris was never in charge of the southern border, despite labeling her Joe Biden’s “border czar” repeatedly.

Trump’s campaign for tagging Harris with the title “border czar.” On X, however, users noticed that Axios themselves referred to Harris as a “border czar” on at least three occasions in 2021, when Biden gave her special responsibility for illegal immigration.
