Entering the round of 32 in the 2022 NCAA Tournament, three Cinderella teams hoped to keep their tournament dreams alive.
Saint Peter’s, which upset No. 2 seed Kentucky in the first round, defeated Murray State. The winners of two 12-5 upsets were Richmond and New Mexico State. Both schools fell to their higher-seeded opponents in the round of 32.
Saturday’s action also has been headlined by Kansas pulling through in a close call against Creighton, Baylor falling to North Carolina and Michigan knocking off Tennessee.
