Former Obama aides Jon Lovett, Jon Favreau and Tommy Vietor on Tuesday criticized Democrats over how they have attempted to attack President Donald Trump during his second term thus far.
Over a dozen Democratic elected officials and strategists told Politico recently that they are taking a less aggressive approach to attacking Trump as they wait for Americans to stop supporting him. The former Obama aides, on their “Pod Save America” podcast, took issue with Democrats’ passive strategy as well as a particular attack line the party has started using.
