Former President Donald Trump Makes History with First Mugshot
Former President Donald Trump turned himself in at the Fulton County Jail in Atlanta, Georgia, just after 7:30 p.m. He became the first US president in history to have his mugshot taken after surrendering to the Fulton County, GA, jail on Aug. 24. Trump was initially indicted on August 14 on 13 counts, including violating the state’s anti-racketeering act, soliciting a public officer to violate their oath, conspiring to impersonate a public officer, conspiring to commit forgery in the first degree, and conspiring to file false documents. Trump and his 18 fellow co-defendants were given until noon Friday to surrender at the jail.
