With the 60th ACM Awards now six weeks away, the Academy of Country Music and Dick Clark Productions have announced the first rollout of performers for the Prime Video webcast, with Blake Shelton, Eric Church and Lainey Wilson set to perform from Texas on May 8.
All three are in demand, each of them also having just been seen on the highly rated “Opry 100” special.
Shelton is currently back on the scene with “Texas,” his first single for Big Loud after decades with Warner Nashville. Church last week announced the coming of his new album, “Evangeline vs. the Machine,” coming out May 2. Wilson is touring much of the year behind her hit “Whirlwind” album; she returns to the ACMs after winning the organization’s top prize, entertainer of the year, in 2024.
