“A Good Time Pushed” will appear on the first-ever solo release by the Breeders frontwoman
“Now is the time for me to get what I want,” Kim Deal sings halfway through her new solo single, “A Good Time Pushed.” But the declaration, tied to the beginning and end of a relationship, comes with a caveat: “And when I figure it out, consider it bought.” But the good news is that while she’s figuring out what she wants, she’s having a good time, as she sings on the alt-rock song right before a snaky guitar solo. Filmmaker Mark Satterthwaite, who co-produced the Breeders’ “Live in Big Sur” video, created the visuals for the single.
