Keke Palmer insists she had no idea that the vintage Chanel dress she wore to the SAG Awards on Sunday was once worn by her “Scream Queens” co-star Jamie Lee Curtis.
“I literally found out after it came up online,” Palmer told me Wednesday night at Vanity Fair and Instagram’s Vanities party at Bar Marmont in West Hollywood. “I had no idea. I just loved the dress. I just thought it was stunning.”
Curtis wore the black and gold gown in 1986 to the first American Cinematheque Award Gala, which honored Eddie Murphy.
“All I knew was that it was a dress I had to wear and the fact that Jamie also wore was incredible because that’s my girl. We did ‘Scream Queens’ together. When my son was born, she sent me all these books.”
