INSURRECTION: If Trump wins, Democrats plan to invoke Sec. 3 of the 14th Amendment to prevent him from taking office
Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) just admitted that the Democrat plan should Donald Trump win a second term in the White House this fall is to basically remove him via the U.S. Constitution.
The contingency plan involves the invocation of Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, also known as the “Insurrection Clause,” which disqualifies former government officials from holding office if they engaged in an “insurrection” after taking an oath to support the Constitution.
The Democrats claim that Trump sparked the events of Jan. 6, 2021, which resulted in hordes of people flooding the U.S. Capitol and wreaking havoc.
