Legendary comedian Jerry Seinfeld responded to a pro-Palestine ambush by saying he simply doesn’t care.
A video clip shared by Subway DJ’s Instagram page Feb. 16 shows an activist shoving his camera in front of Seinfeld’s face, putting him on the spot for a selfie, and then turning the opportunity into a political quest. The famous actor-comedian obliged and leaned in to pose for a photo, but the man was recording video the whole time. The man flashed a peace sign with his fingers and shouted “free Palestine!”
Seinfeld scrunched up his face. The man in the video questioned him to see if he’d “maybe” repeat that line as well.
“I don’t care about Palestine,” Seinfeld replied, as he shook his head and walked away.
The interaction seemed innocent at first. The man appeared to be a fan that just wanted a photo, as many people in the crowd were shouting…
