Horrifying Video Captures Moment Object Strikes School Bus Driver On Highway

Video footage captured the moment a flying piece of metal struck a school bus driver while driving on a Washington highway.

Stewart O’Leary was driving a high school girls’ basketball team to a game on Feb. 7 when he was suddenly struck by metal, according to KOMO News. O’Leary was going over 60 mph on Interstate 405 when he was struck.

Footage of the incident shared by KOMO News on YouTube shows O’Leary driving the bus when suddenly an object flies through the windshield, striking him in the chest. O’Leary can instantly be heard yelling as he is seen grabbing his chest. The coaches on board immediately went to check on him.

One of the coaches can be seen directing O’Leary to drive slowly and pull over while another coach called 911, asking for “fire and medical” services.
