Sebastian Coe, a former gold medalist in the global sporting event, revealed his manifesto for what he would do if he lands the role of International Olympics Committee (IOC) president. Coe continues to campaign for the gig as we head into 2025.
In the manifesto, Coe makes it a strong point that female athletes need to be protected, doing so here in 2024 where outrage has hit a boiling point over trans athletes competing against women.
Coe is a staunch opponent against the inclusion of trans athletes in female sports, which is the complete opposite view of current Olympics chief Thomas Bach. Speaking with Sky News in an interview Thursday, Coe said that he would look into a 100% ban on transgenders.
