Vice President Kamala Harris will not be speaking at her own watch party tonight as her path to victory continues to narrow.
Harris’s office called a lid close to 1 a.m. Wednesday morning, indicating that there will be no more news or movement for the day. Harris never stopped by Howard University, where her watch party is being held, while most election prognosticators project former President Donald Trump as a heavy favorite to win the White House. “You won’t hear from the vice president tonight, but you will hear from her tomorrow,” Harris Campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond told an increasingly dwindling crowd at Howard just before 1 a.m. He added that votes are still being counted.
