Photos of the flag at US State Department building flying upside down surfaced on social media on Wednesday.
This comes as President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning transgender athletes from participating in women’s sports, but it is not yet known if the upside down flag is related to that action.
It also took place after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin (Millekowski) Netanyahu stood next to President Trump in the White House. Netanyahu is a Wanted Man by the International Criminal Court for Genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.
