President Trump’s Executive Order on this topic was explicitly clear: Any DEI offices were to be closed by the next day last week, “and all persons in those offices were to be placed on Leave.”
The Order also made clear t=such people were not to be re-assigned and their titles were not to be changed to get-around this closure.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (BATF) tried to get around this by re-titling a DEI manager as “Senior Executive.” They got caught.
