Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) is no stranger to exploiting murders to try and emotionally manipulate people into supporting his gun control agenda. But, after the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, Murphy instead wants us to hear the shooter out.
Here are Murphy’s comments about the shooting, with emphasis added to the magic word he uses to downplay the murder, “Listen, I’m never going to condone violence. I don’t here. I spend my entire life fighting gun violence because I know that the devastation is enormous. What I see happening in this country, though, is a real visceral anger.”
