Graham rejects Cheney’s ‘dictatorship’ claims on Trump, warns of Biden: ‘Won’t recognize America’

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) countered claims by former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) about a second Donald Trump presidency dooming the United States. He said a second term for President Joe Biden would be far worse.

“I understand why people don’t like what [Trump] does and says at times,” Graham said during an interview with CNN’s State of the Union, “but in terms of actions and results, he was far better president [than] Biden. And if we have four more years of this, Liz Cheney, then we won’t recognize America and the world will be truly on fire.”

The South Carolina senator’s comments come after Cheney gave an interview to CBS Sunday Morning where she said Trump’s potential primary win and reelection would bring the United States closer to a “dictatorship.”
