Chance Perdomo‘s “Gen V” character Andre Anderson will not be recast for Season 2 of “The Boys” spinoff series.
Perdomo died at the age of 27 in March as a result of a motorcycle accident. In a joint statement released on Sunday, the “Gen V” producers said they will not recast the role because “no one can replace Chance.”
“Instead, we have been taking the time and space to recraft our Season 2 storylines as we begin production in May,” the statement continued. “We will honor Chance and his legacy this season.”
Perdomo starred in the first season of “Gen V” as Andre Anderson, a student at Godolkin University who harnesses magnetic manipulation abilities.
