Full-Body vs. Split Workouts: Only One Is Actually Worth Your Time

Most people don’t have abundant free time to dedicate to working out, which is why optimizing the minutes or hours you do have is important. With this time crunch in mind, you may ask yourself: Is a full-body workout or split workout a better use of my time? The answer: full-body, functional exercises will provide the most value for when you are able to exercise. 

Exercises like lunges and push-ups will always be more effective than exercises that isolate a single muscle — like bicep curls, quadricep extensions and calf raises, for example — and for those of us with limited time, we owe it to ourselves to get the most out of each and every workout move
