Former NFL Player Brady Poppinga Sues Hospital Over His Son’s Death: REPORT

Former Green Bay Packers linebacker Brady Poppinga reportedly sued Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center and several doctors over the death of his son.

Poppinga filed the lawsuit in Los Angeles the last week of November, alleging that multiple physicians at the hospital failed to care for his 17-year-old son, Julius. Poppinga and his wife Brooke admitted Julius to the ICU Aug. 27, 2023 with chest pains and breathing issues, according to TMZ.

They allege a doctor at the hospital “negligently and wrongfully concluded” Julius was having a panic attack, and prescribed medication, but his health failed to improve. He died a short time later, and an autopsy later determined his cause of death was due to a pulmonary embolism, according to TMZ.
