Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley said Monday on Fox News that it’s “time to blow the lid off” Democrats’ “dark money” operations, following ongoing and intense protests against the Department of Government Efficiency’s (DOGE’s) Elon Musk and his car company.
Democrats have protested Musk’s involvement in Trump’s administration since Inauguration Day. Protesters were reportedly involved in over a dozen violent or destructive acts directed at Musk’s electric vehicle (EV) Tesla facilities, according to The Washington Post. On “Jesse Watters Primetime,” Watters asked Hawley about the increase in violence against Musk and his company, asking “how seriously” lawmakers were taking the apparent “domestic terrorist attacks” against Tesla.
