An absolutely enormous storm system is forecast to blanket a majority of the North American continent between January 8 – 11. The time to prepare is now.
Significant weather impacts are expected from coast to coast by Sunday night through Monday morning, following an earlier weather system that will strike the northeastern U.S. on Friday, according to the National Weather Service. Snow is likely to start on Sunday night, and parts of the country may experience freezing precipitation until Thursday.
“Expect disruptions to daily life,” NWS warned in a tweet.
