If Collins votes no on Gabbard during the Senate Intelligence Committee confirmation vote, then it likely means Gabbard’s nomination dies in committee, as it’s unlikely any Democrats on the Intelligence Committee will vote in favor of advancing Gabbard’s nomination. It is also important to note that Collins voted to confirm Avril Haines as Biden’s Director of National Intelligence. Haines is a supporter of DEI.
