Dawn Robinson, member of the hit ’90s girl group En Vogue, said she is homeless and has been living in her car for three years.
Robinson was best known as a singer of the top performing R&B group that took the 90s by storm. She told fans about how she went from superstardom to homelessness Tuesday on her YouTube channel in a video titled “Your New Life is in the Scary.”
The famous singer said she lived with her parents back in 2020 but began facing troubles with her mother. She received a call from her manager promising a better life in Los Angeles and accepted the offer. Robinson soon discovered the situation was less than ideal and researched the culture of living in her car.
“There’s a whole community of people that live in their cars,” she said. “I loved what I was seeing.”
